  • What do I need to know about insurance?
    • Under the terms and conditions of your lease or rental contract, you are required to carry property / liability insurance on the asset. You have the option of supplying proof of coverage or taking advantage of EverBank Commercial Finance’s insurance program, provided by Great American Insurance Group. If you are covering the asset under your own business policy, EverBank Commercial Finance, Inc. must be named as Loss Payee on the certificate.

  • How do I obtain a copy of my Lease/Rental Agreement or other documents?
    • You may request a copy of your Lease/Rental Agreement or other documents via phone 1.866.650.8795, fax 1.201.770.5046, or e-mail Email  Customer Service. Please specify the document you would like a copy of and include your name, contact information, contract number, and where you would like us to send the copies.

  • How do I obtain a copy of my invoice?
    • To request another copy of your invoice you can either fax a written request to 201.770.5046 or e-mail Email  Customer Service. You can also call us at 1.866.650.8795 between the hours of 8:00am and 7:00pm EST Monday through Friday. Please be sure to include your contract number, contact information, effective date, and how you would like us to forward the information (e-mail, fax, US mail).

  • How do I update the billing address on my account?
    • You may update your billing address via phone 1.866.650.8795, e-mail Email  Customer Service, or by completing the appropriate section on the back of your invoice. Please include your name, contract number, new billing address and telephone number, and the effective date for the change.

  • Can I pay by credit card?
    • EverBank Commercial Finance does not accept credit cards for monthly lease or rental payments. We do, however, offer Automated Clearing House (ACH) services. To set up your account for electronic funds transfer, call our customer service center at 1.866.650.8795 between the hours of 8:00am and 7:00pm EST Monday through Friday.

  • Can I make a payment by phone?
    • Yes. Simply call our customer service center at 1.866.879.8795. Our leasing specialists can assist you between the hours of 8:00am and 7:00pm EST Monday through Friday.

  • What happens if my payment is late?
    • As a standard practice, invoices are printed and mailed 20 days prior to the due date and carry a three day grace period. If payments are received after the grace period, they will be assessed a late fee. If you require additional time to process our invoices, please contact us at 1.866.650.8795.

  • Why am I being billed for Property Taxes?
    • Property taxes are assessed by your local jurisdiction on your leased or rented asset. Per your contract, you are required to reimburse us for the taxes assessed by the governing entity. As EverBank Commercial Finance, Inc. is the legal owner of the equipment and we are not tax exempt, your tax exempt status does not apply to property tax.

  • What is a doc fee?
    • The documentation fee is a one-time charge that appears on your first invoice. It covers the cost of processing and initiating your lease or rental.

  • What is Transition Billing?
    • Transition Billing (also called interim rent) is a pro-rated daily charge from the time of equipment installation to the time of lease commencement. This one-time fee, if assessed by your equipment vendor, will appear on your first invoice. Please contact your equipment dealer with any questions regarding your transition billing charge.

  • How are overages calculated on usage-based accounts?
    • Overage invoices are generated by your equipment dealer and sent to EverBank Commercial Finance to add to your lease or rental invoice. Beginning and ending meter reads for all devices are displayed on your invoice. If you have questions regarding overages, please contact your equipment dealer directly so they can research the charges and confirm their accuracy. If a credit or adjustment is required, EverBank Commercial Finance needs instructions in writing from the vendor to apply the correction to your account.

  • Can I add equipment to my existing lease?
    • Yes. Equipment can be added to an existing lease quickly and easily. Talk to your Relationship Manager for details.

  • How do I request a buyout quote?
    • To request a buyout quote simply fax a written request to 1.201.770.5046 or e-mail Email  Customer Service. Please include your contract number, contact information, effective date, and how you would like us to forward the information (e-mail, fax, US mail).
